Dawn Sangster is a Director and farmer at GlenAyr Ltd, a 2,650-hectare sheep and beef farming enterprise in Central Otago.

Over the course of her 30-year farming career, Dawn has held various governance roles, including being a past trustee of the John McGlashan College Board and member of the Beef + Lamb NZ Farmer Council. From 2012 to 2023, she served on the Alliance Group board. Dawn is currently a Director of the Maniototo Irrigation Company and Farmlands Co-operative Society.

A Lincoln University graduate with a Bachelor of Agricultural Commerce in Farm Management, Dawn won the 2012 Otago-Southland Aspiring Director Award and is a Chartered Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
